from 2015-2017 the community of the ghost valley experienced a loss of biodiversity due to clearcutting in  the eastern slopes of Alberta.

The Ghost Valley is an important watershed and riparian area responsible for providing downstream neighbours clean water, trout a place to lay their eggs, and corridors for wildlife to safely move through.

this is the story of the ghost created by the community in hopes to inspire group driven change on how we treat our forests and watersheds in Alberta’s slow-growing, biodiverse climate.
